While it’s fairly easy to get why the official description mentions Sunn O))), this is perhaps an easier, softer listening experience than Sunn’s stuff. More meditative and soothing, I guess, so I’d even recommend it to Sunn’s detractors, as long as you’re into ambiant-ish music. Yet another curiosity unearthed by Neurot Recording’s weekly sales.

Incredible discography. The paper bag 7" on Gravity was a game changer for modern hardcore punk. The lyrics to "Blind" opened my eyes and I never looked back.

All of this apologetic wrist wringing of the vocals is extremely lame. They are awesome. That said, I am a fan of Unsane, Drive Like Jehu, Barkmarket, and Big Black. Strong release.
